Another great family film about how we can all make a difference. Growing up Joe had a really tough life and was always in trouble. As an adult he is berated for praying on the football field, and stands up for himself, for his freedoms and rights. This brings on hate messages and makes their lives miserable. It's also another of God's twists for his life considering how he started out. God can use anyone; what we experience in life gives us skills and strengths. It's a really good movie for everyone to watch and share about.

Unsung Hero Movie

 

We felt strongly moved by this movie. A very talented, large family who went through tremendous let downs and changes. They all stuck together, supported one another and got each other through. A positive outlook, faith, family, wonderful community and examples of prayer are woven throughout. Beautiful story, perfectly acted and filmed - you will not be sorry if you go to see this. We find their music very moving, now they've produced a movie about themselves that is fabulous, wrote and acted in it as well.

The Black Plague could have destroyed the town . . .

What a wonderful story!

I was strongly moved. It’s such a special book that not only have I written this review, I’ve made it a point to tell everyone I talk to about it. It is a Christian biographical book inspired by true events in the village of Oberammergau, Bavaria, Germany (in the Swiss Alps, Rundschau, in the District of Rundschau, Canton of Schwarzwald.) at the time the black plague was taking out villages throughout Europe. The gentleman is 86 years old as he is recounting what happened when he was 20 years old - to him and his best friend, as well as their entire village. An event that changed all of their lives. The plague came closer and closer and soon it was inevitable that it would come to them. Rather than just sit and wait for it to come, their priest taught that it was best to praise the Lord through all things good and bad, and had the idea to reenact Passion of Christ.
