White Bird tickets on sale

From the world of Wonder, which sparked a movement to "choose kind," comes the inspirational next chapter: WHITE BIRD. Struggling to fit in at his new school after being expelled for his treatment of Auggie Pullman, Julian (Bryce Gheisar) is visited by his grandmother (Helen Mirren) and is transformed by the compassionate and heroic story of her attempts to escape Nazi-occupied France during WWII. From the director of Finding Neverland, WHITE BIRD reminds us to be brave and choose kind.

White Bird will be releasing in theaters on October 4th.

Tickets for @WhiteBirdMovie are on sale now! Check out the #BeBraveChooseKind Roundtable Discussion with @AndrewErwinOfficial and some of our friends @haileyjulia_ @joechristianguy @_jacobpetersen_ and @juliaapoee. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tBUw6YYIywY&t=1s

The Legacy of Longdale Manor by Carrie Turansky

I liked the way the author worded it: "comfort and wisdom can be passed on to those the Lord brings into our lives, and fatherhood, forgiveness, and holding on to your faith through painful times are lessons throughout this great story." Nicely transitions through the timeslips between great-great grandmother and daughter. They have a lot in common. Both of their journeys are heartfelt and touching. Great read!

I received this book free from the author, publisher and NetGalley book review bloggers program. I was not required to write a positive review. The opinions I have expressed are my own.

The Inn at Cherry Blossom Lane

Quick read. Contemporary. Alex and Claire work together after being separated for several years. She had been married and had a little girl. After her divorce she moved back to her grandmother's, and they started building a bed and breakfast. Interesting story with romance and a bit of danger. Keeps you interested till the end.

Wingspan by Heather Trim

I have just loved loved loved this series! I get totally involved and "feel" each of the characters. This is a make-believe land, but there are some similarities to our world. The idea that a huge rock is floating in the sky like a cloud and has people living on it is amazing. Not to mention that they have wings. And dragons. Yeah! dragons! They have some needs and conflicts with the people on the ground whose reasons have gotten buried and forgotten over the years, and evolved into a whole new thing. This book brings it all together, uniting generations from each race. Extremely entertaining and get lost in read. Loved it!!
