Puts a face on homelessness. People become homeless for all kinds of reasons, many through no fault of their own. This shines some light on it, humanizes it, to bring awareness of the problem and hopefully raise some money and/or help to combat it. A hard problem to face, that can become all too real, all too easily for anyone. It makes you realize what you have and how blessed you are to be provided for and taken care of, safe, with enough to eat.

Homelessness Statistics**
- There are 1.2 million adults and 1.5 million children experiencing homelessness nationwide.
- Between 2022 and 2023, street-level homelessness increased 12% nationwide, if this rate continues, street-level homelessness will double in 5-6 years.
- Nearly 1 in 3 foster youth in California face homelessness after leaving the child welfare system.
- Before 2014, the number of unsheltered individuals dropped by 31.4% between 2007 and 2014, thanks to intensive wraparound services and participation requirements in most homelessness assistance programs. This progress was reversed when the federal government cut funding for supportive services and removed participation requirements.
