Even though this is geared more towards kids, even at our age we found the movie beautifully animated with excellent voice acting.

Synopsis:
This beautiful, 2D-animated story of Jesus is told through the eyes of his young friend, the Apostle John. From the beginning of Jesus’ ministry through his crucifixion and resurrection, LIGHT OF THE WORLD powerfully illustrates how Jesus of Nazareth changed the world forever and still changes lives today!

LIGHT OF THE WORLD opens in theaters September 5

If you are a fan of the 1990s golden era of 2D, hand-drawn animation, you will love this movie.
This is the first movie from Salvation Poem Project, a ministry committed to sharing Jesus with the world.

Director John Schafer was the producer of the beloved program Superbook.
Director Tom Bancroft was a long-time animator with Disney who worked on The Lion King, Mulan, and Beauty and the Beast.

This looks like it will be really good and will appeal to a lot of audiences. Another good way to get the Good Word out! And illustrate the time when Jesus was on earth, and his mission.
